Box score of the outbid clone war.
Not an auction. Rank is observed, not sold.
outbid.lol
launched ~19 Aug 2026 23:08 and printed very fast. This page reads the public HTML.
It does not estimate traffic. Visitor counts stay blank unless the site prints them.
What we measured. What we did not. Why the original popped.
Mechanic. Rank equals bid. The loss is public. The screenshot is instant.
Audience. The original had one (Wilke). Most clones did not.
On this HTML read only two pages printed a visitor number: outbid.lol (~1.07M,
labeled CLAIMED) and claimrank.lol (1,412, labeled CLAIMED). Everyone else is unknown.
That is not the same as zero traffic. It means the HTML did not say.
About page drift. Earlier copies of outbid’s about page said ~$53,006.
On 22 Aug 2026 the about header still prints ~1.07M visitors since launch. The body
no longer shows $53,006. It prints “revenue $14,013 highest bid (so far)” on one line.
The live board printed $14,018 to take #1. We treat $14,018 as the observed top bid,
not as audited revenue.
Top-heavy board. A scrape of outbid on 21 Aug showed 281 listings,
about $40k total bids, top 10 ≈ 61% of bid value. Source:

Why it spread. Status, grief, and a number you can post. Not marketing infrastructure.
The wave. This is a 72-hour meme. Most boards will be empty in a week.
Why Afterbid does not sell rank. That product already exists.
See the meta rows. Rank here is editorial and observed only. Bids and revenue we did not
see ourselves are left blank or labeled claimed.
